Littlefield Fountain

Littlefield Fountain, also known as the Littlefield Memorial Gateway, is a World War I memorial monument on the main campus of the University of Texas at Austin. Designed by Italian-born sculptor Pompeo Coppini and completed in 1933, it stands at the entrance to the university's South Mall. The monument is named after university regent and benefactor George W. Littlefield, whose donation funded its design and construction. Visitors can view this historic fountain and sculptural gateway, which serves as both a tribute to fallen soldiers and an iconic entry point to the campus.
