About this Experience
“The Playground” is a site-specific Circus Theatre show addressing the polarization plaguing our country through witty wordplay, clowning, movement, and circus. What happens when a group of strangers with oppositional political and cultural beliefs, socioeconomic statuses and sexual orientations collide? And what if that collision wasn’t taken too seriously, but instead viewed with curiosity and a willingness to connect? “The Playground” explores all of these questions and more, along with a healthy dose of circus spectacle for when words alone just don’t cut it. Nature Oasis: Community Bonfire at Hayes
See your local park in a new light! The Nature Oasis Community Bonfire Series invites community members to experience their park by firelight. Spend the evening in the park meeting your neighbors, learning about local wildlife and warming up next to a fire! Unfortunately, we are not able to provide marshmallows just yet, but please feel welcome to bring your own and we will provide the roasting sticks. Join us within the first 15 minutes of the event for a brief lesson on campfire building.
Fall Equinox at NPV
Join us for a relaxed evening of live music and open trails are we celebrate the Fall Equinox at the North Park Village Nature Center. Enjoy a special evening and explore the trails at dusk accompanied by the sounds of the Emily Kuhn Quintet. Weather permitting, we'll also light a few bonfires to warm up by on a crisp fall night. 6:30-8:30pm, no registration necessary. Parking is very limited, so public transit or bikes are encouraged.
