The Mansion Restaurant

The Mansion Restaurant is the signature dining venue of the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Housed in a 1925 home originally built for cotton magnate Sheppard King and later owned by oilman Toddie Lee Wynne, the restaurant was established in 1980 by oil heiress Caroline Rose Hunt. It underwent a renovation in 2007 and has been described as one of the last storied, formal restaurants in the United States. Visitors can experience an upscale, refined dining atmosphere with a notable culinary legacy. The current executive chef is Sebastien Archambault, and past head chefs include Dean Fearing, under whom Casey Thompson began her career, as well as Avner Samuel, John Tesar, and Bruno Davaillon.
