Brooklyn Botanic Garden

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a 52-acre botanical garden in central Brooklyn, featuring over 14,000 taxa of plants. It includes specialty gardens like the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, rose garden, native flora garden, Shakespeare garden, fragrance garden, and a children's garden. The site also has a conservatory, a palm house from the 1910s, and a cherry esplanade. Visitors can explore diverse plant collections, enjoy scenic walks along a brook and through formal landscapes, and see structures such as the Steinhardt Conservatory and the Laboratory Administration Building with a library.
