David Geffen Hall

David Geffen Hall is a 2,200-seat concert hall at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Designed by Max Abramovitz, it opened in 1962 and has undergone name changes from Philharmonic Hall to Avery Fisher Hall, now bearing its current name after a $100 million donation from David Geffen. As the home of the New York Philharmonic, the hall offers audiences the chance to experience live classical music performances by one of the world’s leading orchestras.
