Liberty Park

Liberty Park is a one-acre elevated public park at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, which opened on June 29, 2016. It is located above the World Trade Center's Vehicular Security Center and offers sweeping views of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in Lower Manhattan. Visitors to the park can see Fritz Koenig's The Sphere, an iconic sculpture salvaged from the original World Trade Center site, as well as the America's Response Monument, a bronze statue honoring the quiet professionals who responded after 9/11. The park also houses the St. Nicholas National Shrine, a Greek Orthodox church. This peaceful elevated green space provides a unique vantage point for reflection and remembrance in the heart of the World Trade Center complex.
