Trump Tower

Trump Tower is a 58-story, 664-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper at 721–725 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. It houses the Trump Organization headquarters and the penthouse residence of Donald Trump. Designed by Der Scutt, the building was developed by Trump and the Equitable Life Assurance Company. Construction ran from 1979 to 1983, with a staggered opening of the atrium, apartments, offices, and stores. The tower contains retail, office, and residential spaces, plus privately owned public areas on the ground floor and lower level. Visitors can enter the public atrium and lower-level spaces, which feature shops, restaurants, and the famous gold-and-marble interior. The building became a major tourist draw after Trump's 2016 campaign, leading to increased visitation and security presence. Its iconic architecture and association with a U.S. president make it a notable photo stop. Though primarily a residential and commercial address, the accessible public spaces offer a glimpse of New York luxury.
