Pease Park

Pease Park, officially Pease District Park, is an urban green space in central Austin paralleling Shoal Creek west of downtown. It is a popular spot for students from the University of Texas at Austin and Long-View Micro School, and was once a destination for disc golf enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy the park's natural setting for walking, jogging, or relaxing. The main draw is the annual Eeyore's Birthday Party celebration each spring, a cherished event for Austin's hippie subculture that has been held since the 1960s, featuring music, costumes, and community festivities.
