John Hancock Center

The John Hancock Center, officially 875 North Michigan Avenue, is a 100-story skyscraper in Chicago's Magnificent Mile district. Designed by Bruce Graham and Fazlur Rahman Khan, it stood as the world's second-tallest building when completed in 1968. Today it houses offices, restaurants, and about 700 condominiums, and remains one of the city's tallest structures. Visitors can head to 360 Chicago, the 94th-floor observatory offering 360-degree views up to four states and over 80 miles. The experience includes TILT, a moving platform that leans you 30 degrees over the edge, a full bar with local selections, Chicago's only open-air SkyWalk, and free interactive touchscreens in six languages. The 44th-floor sky lobby also features the highest indoor swimming pool in the United States.
