Green Park

Green Park is a Royal Park in the City of Westminster, Central London. It lies north of Buckingham Palace's gardens and forecourt, across Constitution Hill. Surrounded by a chain of green spaces including St James's Park, Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens, the park was first enclosed in the 17th century by King Charles II and landscaped in 1820. Unlike other central London parks, Green Park has no lakes or buildings, and only minimal flower planting in the form of naturalised narcissus. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks through simple green space, with views of nearby landmarks such as Clarence House and St James's Palace. It offers a quiet escape in the heart of the city.
