Kew Palace

Kew Palace is a historic royal palace within Kew Gardens, dating to 1631. The main surviving element, the Dutch House, is Grade I listed and was home to royalty from the 1720s to 1818. It is cared for by Historic Royal Palaces. Visitors can tour the Dutch House and the 18th-century service wing’s kitchens, which are open to the public. While most other buildings on site are private, the palace offers a glimpse into royal life. Its location on the banks of the River Thames within Kew Gardens makes it an attractive destination for exploration.
