The Millennium Bridge is a steel suspension footbridge crossing the River Thames, linking the Bankside area to the City of London. It opened in June 2000 but gained immediate notoriety when pedestrians felt an unexpected swaying motion, earning it the nicknames 'Wobbly Bridge' and 'Wibbly Wobbly'. After closure and modifications, it reopened in 2002. Visitors can walk across this slender bridge and enjoy a clear, framed view of St Paul's Cathedral's south façade from the southern bank.
