Regent's Park

Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks of London, covering 410 acres in north-west Inner London. It is split between the City of Westminster and the Borough of Camden. The park features a large central parkland and an ornamental lake, and houses Regent's University and London Zoo on its periphery. Originally a Crown possession used for hunting and farming, the park was redesigned in the 1810s as a pleasure garden by John Nash, James Burton, and Decimus Burton. The project included aristocratic townhouses and expensive terrace dwellings along the edges. The park is Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. Visitors can enjoy the scenic parkland, visit the zoo, stroll by the lake, and admire the historic architecture.
