Shepherd's Bush Empire

The Shepherd's Bush Empire, now known as the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire for sponsorship reasons, is a music venue in West London originally built in 1903 as a music hall. Designed by theatre architect Frank Matcham for impresario Oswald Stoll, it once hosted early performances by Charlie Chaplin. From 1953 to 1994 it served as the BBC Television Theatre before reverting to a live music venue, and it is a Grade II listed building. Today, the venue is managed by the Academy Music Group and presents a wide range of concerts and live performances in its historic auditorium.
