The O2 Arena

The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena situated in the centre of The O2 entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London. Opened in 2007, it boasts the third-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom and was recognised as the world's busiest music arena in 2008. The arena is housed within the former Millennium Dome, which is the ninth-largest building in the world by volume. Visitors can attend live music concerts, sports events, and other performances. The nearest tube station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line.
