Canter's is a Jewish-style delicatessen that first opened in 1931 in Boyle Heights before moving to the Fairfax District near West Hollywood. It has long been a hangout for movie stars and celebrities, offering a nostalgic, bustling atmosphere. It stays open 24 hours most days (except on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), with the dining room operating until 11:30 PM.
