Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium is a baseball park in Los Angeles's Elysian Park neighborhood. Opened in 1962, it is the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium west of the Mississippi River. It holds the title of the largest baseball stadium in the world by seat capacity. Known as a pitcher's ballpark, it has been the site of 13 no-hitters, including two perfect games. Visitors can attend regular-season MLB games and major events. The stadium has hosted the MLB All-Star Game, the World Series twelve times, World Baseball Classic semifinals and finals, a 2013 soccer tournament featuring Real Madrid, and a 2014 NHL regular-season game. It was also the home of the Los Angeles Angels from 1962 to 1965. The venue is commonly called Chavez Ravine Stadium or "Blue Heaven on Earth."
