Grand Park

Gloria Molina Grand Park is a 12-acre urban park in the civic center of Los Angeles, stretching between City Hall and the Music Center on Grand Avenue. Originally developed in 1966 as the Civic Center Mall, it was redesigned by a multidisciplinary firm and its first phase opened in 2012. The park features tree-shaded sidewalks, drought-tolerant plants, and an interactive fountain plaza. Visitors can enjoy performance lawns, courtyards, and movable furniture for relaxation. The park is designed to be pedestrian friendly, connecting Bunker Hill to the civic center. City officials have compared it to iconic urban parks like Central Park. Programming and entertainment are managed by the Los Angeles Music Center, making it a vibrant spot for walking, exploring, and enjoying outdoor events.
