John Anson Ford Amphitheatre

The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre is a 1,200-seat outdoor music venue in the Hollywood Hills, situated within the Cahuenga Pass of the Santa Monica Mountains. Owned by Los Angeles County and operated in partnership with the Ford Theatre Foundation and the County Department of Parks and Recreation, it opened in 1920 and was renamed in 1976. Visitors can attend concerts and performances in this scenic amphitheater, which is the official sister venue to the Hollywood Bowl, located directly across the U.S. 101 freeway. Since 2020, the venue has been operated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, offering a range of live music events in an intimate outdoor setting.
