Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park is one of Los Angeles's first parks, created in 1881 from land donated by John Strother Griffin. It was originally called East Los Angeles Park before being renamed Eastlake Park in 1901. On May 19, 1917, it was renamed Lincoln Park after Abraham Lincoln High School. As a historic green space in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood, the park offers visitors a chance to enjoy its grounds and reflect on the city's early development. Ideal for a leisurely stroll, picnic, or simply relaxing outdoors, it remains a community landmark rooted in Los Angeles history.
