The Edison

The Edison is a steampunk-themed nightclub located in the basement of the Higgins Building in Los Angeles. Opened in 2007, the building was originally constructed by Thomas Higgins and later rescued from a derelict state by entrepreneurs Andrew Meieran and Marc Smith. They transformed the space into a post-industrial steampunk venue for nightclub goers. Visitors come for the unique steampunk atmosphere, complete with industrial decor and copper piping. The club is also known for its rooftop aquarium, offering a distinctive backdrop for a night out. It’s a popular spot for after-dark entertainment and socializing.
