Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is a linear urban park north of the Tennessee State Capitol, modeled on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It functions as an outdoor museum that uses Classical Greek, Baroque, and Beaux-Arts architecture and native plants to showcase Tennessee's history, geography, culture, and musical heritage through monuments, walkways, and interpretive displays. Visitors can explore the park's many symbolic features, including monuments and displays about the state's past. The park also hosts the Tennessee State Museum and the Tennessee State Library and Archives on its grounds. With over 2.5 million annual visitors, it is the most visited state park in Tennessee and a popular public space in Nashville.
