Lipstick Lounge

Lipstick Lounge, also called The Lip, is a bar in a 125-year-old building on Woodland Street in East Nashville. It opened in September 2002 and is co-owned by Christa Suppan and Jonda Valentine. While it is lesbian-owned, the bar brands itself as a welcoming space for everyone. Visitors come for the inclusive, friendly atmosphere that makes anyone feel at home. As one of fewer than twenty remaining lesbian bars in the United States, it offers a unique and historically significant nightlife experience. Guests can enjoy drinks and socialize in a space that celebrates diversity and community.
