Shelby Park

Shelby Park is a large urban park situated about three miles east of downtown Nashville along the Cumberland River. It spans over 361 acres and is surrounded by the Lockeland Springs, Shelby Hills, and Rolling Acres neighborhoods. The park offers playgrounds, a dog park, baseball fields, two golf courses, and a community center, making it a versatile outdoor space. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities such as playing baseball, golfing, walking dogs, or letting children play on the playgrounds. The park's size and riverfront location also provide ample space for leisurely walks, picnics, or simply enjoying nature. Until 2011, it hosted some Belmont Bruins baseball home games.
