Tennessee Central Railway Museum

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum is a small non-profit facility preserving the heritage of rail transport in Tennessee and the central South. Housed in a freight depot, it honors the former Tennessee Central Railway and operates an all-volunteer heritage railroad dedicated to restoring and interpreting historic equipment. Visitors can explore a collection of historic rolling stock, including nine diesel-electric locomotives and thirty other cars and engines. Inside the depot, you'll find railroad artifacts and memorabilia, a gift shop, and large model train layouts in HO and N scale. The museum also runs rail excursions for fundraising and education, offering a hands-on experience of railway history.
