5th Avenue Theatre

The 5th Avenue Theatre is a landmark venue located in downtown Seattle’s Skinner Building, owned by the University of Washington. Opened in 1926, it has hosted a wide variety of theater productions and motion pictures. The nonprofit 5th Avenue Theatre Association operates the 2,130-seat house as the resident home of the 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company, employing over 600 local theater professionals — making it the largest theater employer in the Puget Sound region.
