Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is the natural history museum of the University of Washington and the official state museum of Washington. Established in 1899 as the Washington State Museum, it originated from a high school naturalist club formed in 1879, making it the oldest museum in the state.
