Green Lake

Green Lake is a freshwater lake in north central Seattle, within Green Lake Park. Its basin was carved 50,000 years ago by the Vashon glacier, which also shaped other local lakes. The park is bordered by the Green Lake, Wallingford, Phinney Ridge neighborhoods, and Woodland Park to the southwest.
