Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight is a private non-profit air and space museum situated at the southern end of King County International Airport (Boeing Field) in Tukwila, just south of Seattle. Founded in 1965 and fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, it is recognized as the largest private air and space museum in the world. The museum also runs extensive K-12 educational programs, reaching over 140,000 students annually through its Challenger Learning Center, Aviation Learning Center, summer camp ACE, and outreach efforts across Washington and Oregon. Visitors can explore a vast collection of aircraft and space artifacts, and engage with interactive educational exhibits. In 2024, the museum attracted over 465,000 guests and has more than 11,000 members. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about aviation and space history, with programs that cater to all ages, making it a compelling destination for families and enthusiasts.
