Museum of History & Industry

The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) is a history museum in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. It is the largest private heritage organization in Washington state, with a collection of nearly four million artifacts, photographs, and archival materials focusing on Seattle and the Puget Sound region. The museum is housed in the historic Naval Reserve Armory at Lake Union Park. Visitors can explore permanent and temporary exhibits, including Boeing's first commercial plane (1919 Boeing B-1), the Petticoat Flag from the 1856 Battle of Seattle, and the Rainier Brewing Company's 12-foot neon "R" sign. The museum also offers youth and adult programming and hosts public events with community partners.
