Barack Obama Presidential Center

The Barack Obama Presidential Center is a museum, library, and education project on Chicago's South Side, located in Jackson Park adjacent to the University of Chicago. It includes a museum, community and conference facilities, a branch of the Chicago Public Library, and a community athletic facility set within a large public park with gardens and a playground. Visitors can explore exhibits displaying documents and artifacts from the Obama presidency, loaned by the National Archives. The center houses the Obama Foundation and is working to create the first fully digitized presidential library. The library holds over 600 cubic feet of audiovisual recordings and around 3 million photographs. The campus features John Lewis Plaza as the main entry point.
