Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park is Chicago's largest public park, stretching seven miles along Lake Michigan on the city's North Side. Named after President Abraham Lincoln, it features 1,208 acres of parkland, beaches, nature reserves, and harbors. With 20 million annual visitors, it is the second-most-visited city park in the US. Visitors can explore the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the Chicago History Museum, and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. The park also offers a theater with summer outdoor performances, landscaped gardens, bird refuges, and a variety of sports fields and courts. Harbors provide boating facilities, and there are public beaches for swimming.
