National Hellenic Museum

The National Hellenic Museum is the second oldest American institution dedicated to showcasing the cultural contributions of Greeks and Greek-Americans. Located in Chicago's Greektown at the corner of Halsted and Van Buren Streets, it moved to its current building in December 2011 and officially opened on December 10, 2011. Visitors can explore exhibits highlighting the rich traditions of ancient and contemporary Greece, with a special focus on the Greek-American immigrant experience.
