Rate Field

Rate Field is a baseball stadium on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. It is the home venue for the Chicago White Sox, one of the city's Major League Baseball teams. The stadium opened in 1991 as Comiskey Park, replacing the original ballpark that stood across 35th Street. It is owned by the state of Illinois through the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority. Visitors can attend White Sox baseball games at this venue. Outside, a marble plaque marks the location of the original Comiskey Park's home plate, and foul lines are painted in the parking lot. A spectator ramp across 35th Street echoes the contour of the old first-base grandstand, offering a glimpse into the ballpark's history.
