Soldier Field

Soldier Field is a multi-purpose stadium on Chicago's Near South Side, opened in 1924. It has been home to the Chicago Bears since 1971 and Chicago Fire FC since 2020, with a football capacity of 62,500—making it the second-smallest in the NFL and the oldest stadium in both the NFL and MLS. The interior was fully rebuilt during a major renovation in 2002–2003. Visitors can attend Bears and Fire games, major concerts, and other large events. The stadium has hosted the FIFA World Cup, Special Olympics World Games, and historic speeches by Amelia Earhart, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King Jr. Though its historic landmark status was removed in 2006 due to the renovation, the venue remains a vibrant destination for sports and entertainment.
