Casa Bonita

Casa Bonita is a Mexican-themed restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado, that first opened in 1974. Its pink exterior hides a multilevel interior with plastic palm trees, string lights, and rooms styled after Mexican landmarks like Puerto Vallarta. The main attraction is a 30-foot indoor waterfall with cliff divers, inspired by the cliffs of Acapulco, and the building is topped by a gold dome and a statue of Cuauhtémoc. It was named a historic landmark in 2015. Visitors come to experience the immersive theming and watch the cliff divers perform. After a period of closure, the restaurant was bought by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who renovated it significantly. It soft-reopened in June 2023, billing itself as "The Greatest Restaurant in the World!" and continues to draw crowds for its unique dining entertainment.
