Museo de las Americas

Museo de las Americas is a fine arts museum dedicated to educating the community by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting the diverse arts and cultures of the Americas. Its collections span from ancient to contemporary works, housed in a 12,000 sq. ft. building in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District. Visitors will discover a permanent collection of over 3,000 objects, including pre-Columbian figures, textiles, ceramics, masks, jewelry, and contemporary mixed-media pieces. The museum also features avant-garde international exhibitions and a research library. Past exhibits include the installation "Detention Nation," which simulated an immigration detention facility.
