Twister III: Storm Chaser

Twister III: Storm Chaser is a custom-built wooden roller coaster at Elitch Gardens in Denver. It is based on the original Mr. Twister coaster that operated at the park before its relocation in 1995. Designed by John Pierce, who also created the famous The Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the coaster was built by Hensel Phelps Construction Co. and features trains from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. In 2023, the ride was refurbished and renamed from Twister II to Twister III: Storm Chaser. Visitors can enjoy the thrill of a classic wooden coaster with a modern update. The ride offers a nostalgic feel with a custom layout from a renowned designer. It is a must-ride for coaster enthusiasts and a standout attraction within the park.
