Voorhies Memorial

Voorhies Memorial is a monument designed by Fisher & Fisher in the Denver Civic Center, completed in 1919. It features a triumphal arch with curved supporting wings and roofed columns, adorned with murals by Allen Tupper True. A central pond holds a sculpture of a sea lion (often called a seal) by Robert Garrison, giving the memorial the nickname "Seal Pond." Visitors can view the architecture, murals, and the playful fountain, making it a pleasant spot for a brief stop or photo.
