Bay Area Discovery Museum

The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a children's museum located in Sausalito, California, within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. Founded in 1987, it is designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years, with six distinct areas tailored to specific age groups: Art Studios, Bay Hall, Discovery Hall, Lookout Cove, Tot Spot, and Fab Lab. A highlight is an interconnected set of tree houses shaped like the nuts of the trees they inhabit.
