Buena Vista Park

Buena Vista Park is a public park in the Haight-Ashbury and Buena Vista Heights neighborhoods of San Francisco. Established in 1867 as Hill Park, it is the oldest official park in the city. The park is bounded by Haight Street to the north and Buena Vista Avenue West and East. The park sits on a steep hill that peaks at 575 feet and covers 38.3 acres. The lowest section is along Haight Street. Visitors can enjoy walking trails, scenic views from the hilltop, and the peaceful natural setting within the city.
