San Francisco Botanical Garden

San Francisco Botanical Garden is a 55-acre arboretum in Golden Gate Park. It houses nearly 9,000 types of plants from around the globe, with special emphasis on Magnolia, high elevation palms, conifers, and cloud forest species from Central and South America and Southeast Asia. Visitors can wander through collections showcasing plants from different climates. The County Fair Building sits near the main entrance. Along with the Japanese Tea Garden and Conservatory of Flowers, it forms the Gardens of Golden Gate Park.
